Outlook: mailbox condivisa e send items
Nel caso in cui un utente possa inviare mail per conto di una mailbox condivisa vi sono alcune considerazioni da fare per quanto riguarda i send items e la posizione in cui questi verranno memorizzati considerando che probabilmente può essere più utile che i send items vengano salvati nella posta inviata della mailbox condivisa.
Il salvataggio dei Send Items nella posta inviata della mailbox condivisa è disponibile in Outlook a partire dalla versione 2003, ma per ogni versione occorre fare delle considerazioni separate.
In Outlook 2003, Outlook 2007 e Outlook 2010 è necessario installare una hotfix, mentre Outlook 2013 ha il supporto nativo per tale funzionalità:
- Outlook 2003 SP3 richiede la KB953803
- Outlook 2007 SP2 richiede la KB970944
- Outlook 2010 richiede la KB2547227 (per che come indicato nella KB2181579 Email that you send on behalf of someone is not saved in their Sent Items folder la versione RTM non implementa la funzionalità inserita nell’SP1)
Dopo aver installato l’hotfix, se necessario occorre abilitare la funzione impostando a 1 il valore DWORD DelegateSentItemsStyle nella seguente chiave di registro come indicato nella KB2703723 Email remains in the Outbox when you use the DelegateSentItemsStyle registry value:
- Outlook 2013: HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Office\15.0\Outlook\Preferences
- Outlook 2010: HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Office\14.0\Outlook\Preferences
- Outlook 2007: HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Outlook\Preferences
- Outlook 2003: HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0\Outlook\Preferences
KB2703723 Email remains in the Outbox when you use the DelegateSentItemsStyle registry value suggerisce di impostarla a 0 per evitare il seguente in Outlook 2003/2007/2010/2013 che mail rimangano nella posta in uscita fino a che non si esegue manualmente un invio e ricevi:
When you send an email message from a shared mailbox, the sent email message remains in your Outbox until you manually perform a Send/Receive operation)
This problem occurs when all the following conditions are true:
- Your Outlook profile is configured in online mode (not cached Exchange mode).
- You have the DelegateSentItemsStyle registry value set to 1.
Va inoltre precisato che come indicato nella KB2703723 Email remains in the Outbox when you use the DelegateSentItemsStyle registry value in Exchange 2010 SP2 RU4 o successivi è possibile gestire tale configurazione tramite PowerShell:
Update Rollup 4 for Exchange Server 2010 Service Pack 2 introduced a new Exchange PowerShell cmdlet to configure the Sent Items folder to which a message is copied. Because this new feature is handled by the Exchange server, Outlook can be configured for online or cached Exchange mode. However, the Exchange server feature works only if the Outlook DelegateSentItemsStyle registry value is disabled.

La configurazione descritta non è necessaria in Outlook 2010 e Outlook 2013 se vengono utilizzati gli account multipli che però richiedono l’accesso completo alla mailbox condivisa e non solo l’autorizzazione Invia Come. A riguardo si vedano:
