Configurazione switch Aruba 2930F
Lo switch Aruba 2930F può essere configurato tramite un interfaccia web di cui ne esistono due versioni la Improved GUI, introdotta con l’acquisizione di Aruba in HPE, e la Traditional GUI, ovvero quella origina Aruba.
Oltre all’interfaccia web tale switch può essere configurato tramite la console cloud Aruba Central, ma in questo caso per per poter in gestire lo switch occorre prestare attenzione alle seguenti note riportate in Aruba Central – How to Add Devices:
- The provisioning of the legacy Aruba Switch fails when the provisioning process is interrupted during the initial booting and if the switch has a static IP address with no DNS server configured.
- During Zero Touch Provisioning, the Aruba Switches can join Central only if they are running the factory default configuration, and have a valid IP address and DNS settings from a DHCP server.
- If the switches ship with a version lower than the minimum supported firmware version, a factory reset may be required, so that the switch can initiate a connection to Central.

Tramite l’interfaccia web non è possibile configurare alcuni aspetti come ad esempio l’impostazione della Voice VLAN e la configurazione dell’NTP, tali configurazioni sono invece possibili tramite l’Aruba Central o tramite la command line.
Configurazione della voice vlan tramite CLI
Di seguito i comandi necessari per impostare ad esempio la VLAN 7 come voice VLAN e visualizzare l’elenco delle VLAN per controllare che l’impostazione sia configurata correttamente:

Configurazione della sincronizzazione tramite NTP e della time zone
Di seguito i comandi necessari per impostare la sincronizzazione tramite gli NTP 10.0.0.100 e 10.0.0.200 tramite broadcast, della time zone southern e per controllare che l’impostazione sia configurata correttamente:

Inoltre sono disponibili anche i seguenti comandi utili per modificare la configurazione:
- Per eliminare configurazione NTP:
no ntp
- Per eliminare un server NTP:
no ntp server 10.0.0.200
- Per non sicronizzare con NTP senza rimuovere la configurazione:
no timesync ntp
Per quanto riguarda la sincronizzazione temporale in 16.10 Aruba 2930F / 2930M Management and Configuration Guide for ArubaOS-Switch 16.10 vengono riportate le seuenti note:
The switch offers TimeP, SNTP (Simple Network Time Protocol), NTP, and a timesync command for changing the time protocol selection (or turning off time protocol operation).
Although you can create and save configurations for all time protocols without conflicts, the switch allows only one active time protocol at any time.
In the factory-default configuration, time synchronization is disabled by default.
Because the Aruba 2930F Switch does not contain an RTC (real time clock) chip, Hewlett Packard Enterprise recommends configuring one of the time synchronization protocols supported. Failure to do so could result in the switch time being reset to the factory default of 01/01/1990 00:00:00 in the case of a switch reload, software upgrade, or power cycle.
