Exchange 2010 e l’errore 550 5.7.1 RESOLVER.RST.AuthRequired
In Exchange 2010 e 2007 se si invia mail ad un Universal Distribution Group è possibile ricevere il seguente errore:
#550 5.7.1 RESOLVER.RST.AuthRequired; authentication required ##
Il motivo, come riportato nella KB2773786 – 550 550 5.1.1 or 550 5.7.1 NDR message when an external user sends an email message to a Universal Distribution Group, è dovuto al fatto che per default i
mail-enabled Universal Distribution Group richiedono autenticazione ai senders, quindi se si invia una mail ad un mail-enabled Universal Distribution Group da un indirizzo mail esterno si riceverà l’errore 550 5.7.1.
“This issue occurs because the Require that all senders are authenticated option is enabled on the Distribution Group. By default, this option is enabled for any new Distribution Groups that are created in Exchange 2010 or Exchange 2007.”
Per risolvere il problema occorre disabilitare l’opzione Require that all senders are authenticated tramite l’Exchange Management Console:
In alternativa è anche possibile eseguire la medesima configurazione tramite PowerShell utilizzando l’Exchange Management Shell:
Set-Distributiongroup -identity “Distribution group name” -RequireSenderAuthenticationEnabled $false
Ovviamente ciò comporterà una maggiore esposizione allo spam da parte delle mail contenute nel gruppo di distribuzione, ma se è necessario che tale gruppo possa ricevere mail da indirizzi di posta esterni è inevitabile.
